Supported by their loving in-laws, Harishankar, Savitri, and matriarch Kamla Devi, and alongside their husbands Mahesh and Dinesh, Madhavi and Renu are renowned for their authentic, devoutly prepared fast-speciality foods, especially their signature Singhare ka Halwa and Sabudana Vada tailored for Karva Chauth. Across the street stands a rival, less popular eatery owned by the cunning Kamlesh and her daughter-in-law Monika, who harbor intense professional jealousy. Ahead of Karva Chauth, Kamlesh and Monika sneakily sabotage Madhavi and Renu's food supplies by mixing coarse and adulterated grains into their fasting ingredients. Consequently, when the neighborhood women and customers consume the food during the festival, the contaminated ingredients ruin their fasts and spark public outrage. Manipulated by Kamlesh's malicious lies and false accusations, the furious villagers—and eventually the local police—turn against the family, leading to the wrongful arrest of Madhavi and Renu. Though the police release them on bail shortly after, the psychological pressure, mutual suspicion, and outside instigation tear the joint family apart from within; hurt by immediate mistrust, Madhavi and Renu allow themselves to be manipulated into bitter arguments, ultimately dividing their household and erecting a literal wooden partition right down the middle of their shared dhaba. The period of separation proves miserable and financially ruinous for both, breeding intense regret and emotional coldness. However, the truth finally comes to light when Renu accidentally overhears Kamlesh and Monika boasting about their criminal conspiracy and records their confession on her phone. Armed with undeniable proof, Renu exposes the saboteurs to the entire community and the police, who promptly arrest Kamlesh and Monika. Overwhelmed with guilt for ever doubting each other, Madhavi and Renu reconcile tearfully, destroying the wooden partition in their dhaba, restoring peace to the family, and earning an even greater reputation for unity and resilience under a renewed business name, "Madhavi-Renu ki Rasoi."
