Ральф Уорд, CVAS

Join me on Mike on the Mic as I sit down with Ralph Ward, founder and CEO of Cumberland Valley Analytical Services, Inc., recipient of the FCADC’s 2026 Large Business of the Year Award. Our conversation explores Ralph’s entrepreneurial journey and his impact on agriculture. Through feed and forage analysis, Cumberland Valley Analytical Services helps farmers and nutritionists better understand what livestock are eating, make informed feeding decisions, and support animal health and farm productivity. It’s a connection between laboratory science and the everyday decisions that influence a farm’s success. We also discuss the challenges of building a business, the people behind its growth, and the importance of innovation in serving an industry that feeds us all. Tune in to Mike on the Mic for a conversation about entrepreneurship, agricultural innovation, and a Franklin County business making a difference beyond our borders.
