Nikola Jokić Warned Us About Luka Dončić...(He is RIGHT)

In 2014, Denver took Nikola Jokic 41st overall while the draft broadcast was cutting to a Taco Bell commercial. Four years later, Luka Doncic entered the NBA with the same scouting report: too slow, too heavy, not athletic enough to lead a great team. Jokic had already proven that label wrong. And if anyone in basketball could look at Luka and recognise exactly what he was, it was the man who'd heard it all first. In this video, we break down the blueprint Jokic built in Denver, the numbers that made Luka look like a mirror image, the shock of the Dallas trade to the Lakers, and the one thing Denver figured out that Dallas never did: greatness needs a system. Plus, the honest counterargument: why none of this is guaranteed. If Luka finally gets his Jokic-style championship run, is Los Angeles the place where it happens? Let me know in the comments.
