Course 2: Identifying the Strongholds in a Minister’s Life Soul Care Certification Course

Why do we keep returning to the same unhealthy habits, thought patterns, and struggles, even when we genuinely want to change? In Course 2 of our Soul Care Certification Program, Identifying Strongholds in a Minister’s Life, Rev. Segun Aiyegbusi and the Soul Care team explore how spiritual strongholds become established in the lives of pastors and ministry leaders. This course helps participants recognize repetitive patterns that may be keeping them stuck and look beneath the surface to understand what may actually be feeding those struggles. Through biblical teaching, guided reflection, and practical Soul Care tools, participants explore the connection between emotional wounds, lies we believe, inner vows, unhealthy behaviors, and spiritual strongholds. Rather than simply asking, “Why do I keep doing this?”, this course challenges us to examine the deeper question: “What happened to me that made this behavior feel necessary? Because sometimes the behavior we are trying to change is only the fruit. Healing requires us to prayerfully examine what may be happening at the root.
