What Is Keeping You From Putting God First? | Pastor Josh Howerton

In week three of Into the Breach, Pastor Josh Howerton opens Matthew 6:33 and teaches what he calls his life message: when we put God first, everything else falls into order. From Genesis to Revelation, we see that God is first. He gave first by sending His firstborn Son, and because of that, our first and best belong to Him. Why did God accept Abel’s offering but reject Cain’s? Pastor Josh unpacks the answer, the difference between tithing and tipping, and why Jesus said, “Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Like an Israelite father in Exodus 13 explaining to his son why their family gives God the firstborn, giving our first and best teaches us and our children to walk by faith.
