Building a Tauros Venator - Elysian D99 - The Anphelion Project

Greetings Tauros Venator and Elysian drop troops fans! In this video we build the brand new Tauros Venator from Games workshop, this kit was released for the Palanite enforcers in Necromunda but like most people I shall be converting it for use in my Astra Militarum army, notably the Elsyian D-99. The Tauros Venator is a modified version of the Tauros assault vehicle, the main change being the replacement of the standard weapon mount with a twin-linked set of heavier weaponry such as Heavy stabbers, Lascannons or Multi-Lasers. The increased energy reserves required to power the weapon requires the rear of the vehicle to be extended and an extra pair of wheels installed to maintain stability. These modifications prevent the Tauros Venator from being airlifted by a standard Valkyrie, instead relying on Sky Talon Valkyries, which are equipped to deal with heavy loads This is the first "Proper" video in my Anphelion project series where we aim to collect, build paint and PLAY the armies and scenarios of the Anphleion project.
