LIES ARE LIKE BACTERIA ON YOUR BODY | Dag Heward-Mills

Bishop Dag Heward-Mills unpacks 2 Thessalonians 2:13 and makes a striking claim: holiness is not mainly about what you stop doing - it comes through the Spirit's presence on your life. He says one of the ways to become holier is simply to become more anointed, and that the anointing sanctifies you in ways effort alone never could. Then he drops a vivid illustration comparing lies and deception to bacteria that live on every human body, always present whether we notice or not. Truth, he says, is like an antibiotic - it cleans you from the inside. He closes with Nahum 1:5, describing the physical manifestations of the Spirit: quaking, melting, burning at His presence.
