British Tourists Get Depressed After Returning Home

The American trip was supposed to end when the flight landed back in Britain. Instead, many of the strongest emotions only appeared after the tourists returned home. They began missing the open roads, enormous stores, friendly conversations, American food, exciting cities, and the feeling that every day brought a completely new experience. Ordinary life suddenly felt quieter and more predictable than it had before the journey.
