Creating drought tolerant farms in the Lake Chad Basin

Farmers in the Lake Chad basin are facing unpredictable rains and droughts because of climate change. It's impossible for farmers to grow enough food when they can't count on the rains to come and they can't afford to pay for irrigation. See how farmers like Sandrine are now able to grow more varieties of crops, and increase their family's income because of new irrigation systems provided by CLWR and LWF. This project was implemented with generous support from the Government of Canada. Video production by Louanicom.
