If a Pokémon faints in battle, that Pokémon is considered dead and cannot be used for the remainder of the series. 2. Each player is allowed 50 Pokémon for the entirety of the series. 3. Players cannot use more than one of each species of Pokémon, meaning they can't bring 50 Marshadows to break everything. 4. The 50 Pokémon are selected before the series begins.
