Saudi AH-6I Helicopter Crash KILLS Two Near Yemen Border As Houthi Shootdown Claim Sparks Questions

A deadly Saudi helicopter crash near the Yemen border has sparked conflicting accounts, with Saudi Arabia's coalition confirming the deaths of two crew members while Yemen's Houthi movement claims its forces shot down a Saudi Apache helicopter near Najran. Saudi coalition spokesperson Turki Al-Maliki confirmed that an AH-6i helicopter crashed in an area under the jurisdiction of the Saudi National Guard Ministry. According to the Saudi account, a technical malfunction caused the crash, killing both crew members on board. However, Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree has offered a sharply different version of events, claiming that Yemeni forces shot down a Saudi Apache helicopter near the border. The Houthis have alleged that the aircraft was involved in hostile operations targeting their border positions.
