বিধানসভা ভোটের পর পশ্চিমবঙ্গে সরকার বদলালেও শিক্ষা ক্ষেত্রে নিকৃষ্টতার সাধনা তৃণমূল কংগ্রেসের আমলের মতোই অবাধে চলছে। শাসক দলের ছায়ায় থাকা তথাকথিত ছাত্র সংগঠনের মাতব্বরিই হোক, অথবা কলেজ পরিচালনার মাথায় রাজনীতির কারবারিদের বসানো - কোনও নিরিখেই কোনও সদর্থক পরিবর্তন চোখে পড়ছে না এখনও পর্যন্ত। প্রমাণ হচ্ছে শিক্ষাকে ধ্বংস করার ব্যাধিটা রাজনৈতিক দল নির্বিশেষে বাঙালি দারুণভাবে আয়ত্ত করে নিয়েছে। Even though the government in West Bengal changed following the Assembly elections, the trend of fostering mediocrity in the education sector continues unabated, much like during the Trinamool Congress's tenure.
