My Coast to Coast Walk 2023 - Day 4: Grasmere to Patterdale

12th May 2023. Long climb up to start but I think a little less elevation than yesterday. Cloudy on the high ground and I did not see Grisedale Tarn until I was quite close, though the cloud dispersed a little while I was there. It was quite cold and windy by the tarn. I was hoping to climb St Sunday Crag today but it was very cloudy on top so I would not have been able to see much, so decided to go down the valley. (Hopefully I can do St Sunday Crag another time). It became warmer as I dropped down and the views were clear and pretty. The last few miles were quite flat, so an easy end to the day. 8.62 miles
