Hey☺️. Finally! Better late than never.
This was such a disaster haha..I lost all my edited footage and was only left with the voice over, recovered the original footage and then tried to match it to the old voice over. It would have been easier to just make a new voice over, but well.. here we are now.
I wanted to make time stamps, but you know, next time, I need to stop procrastinating.
Many of you have asked about a detailed list of supplies. I think we are used to that from many tutorials- knowing exactly what brush or paper someone is using to help us get a certain result.
To some extent that might be true, knowing if something was a mop or a rigger is of importance.
But the exact brand and exact size doesn't matter for these kind of paintings ❣️.
Trust the force😘
If I'd have to give recommendations, I would say invest in good quality paints and if possible 100% cotton paper, THAT really makes a difference. But I basically only paint with no name brushes and it has worked fine so far.
To not disappoint you though, here is a list of what I have used:
🌿Cellulose paper, 300g, A6 (4x6inch)
I didn't have 100% cotton and for this exercise it worked fine
🌈 Watercolour from tubes, Neutral tint and Gamboge (it needs to be in tubes for this approach)
🖌️ A variety of no name brushes, round ones from size 4-8, liners/ riggers from very small (3/0) to a bit bigger.
🛠️Sponge, spray bottle, tissue
I am quite new to making videos like this, for example I realised first afterwards how much in and out of focus the camera was..
All of you who are here, I thank you for watching and encouraging me. If one would have told me a couple of years ago I would be making YouTube videos speaking English I would have laughed.
So I am excited to see improvement. When I look back at my first reels on Instagram and compare with my latest, I am surprised. Hopefully I will see similar development with my skills here and hopefully you will want to hang around and be a part of that.
And above all, become inspired to pick up a tool/ brush and paint ❣️
