Win a Prize in This 2002 Retro Arcade Game! | UFO A La Carte II【SEGA】

This video features "UFO A La Carte II," a Japanese prize arcade game released by SEGA in 2002. Unlike traditional claw machines that grab and lift prizes, UFO A La Carte II challenges players to win prizes by making them drop. Players use the controls to carefully position the mechanism and target the part supporting the desired prize. Accurate positioning and timing are important, making the game different from conventional claw machines. Released in 2002, UFO A La Carte II is now approximately 24 years old as of 2026. The UFO A La Carte series is one of SEGA's distinctive prize machine series, offering a different approach to winning arcade prizes. In this video, we challenge this nostalgic machine and try to win a prize. We also document the cabinet design, controls, prize-dropping mechanism, and gameplay as an archive of Japanese arcade culture from the early 2000s.
