Why the Falling Birth Rate is none of your concern

The falling birth rate is a talking point used by the wealthy, the news media, and many popular influencers to push the idea that we need to produce more children to make up for an aging population. Not only do our children not get the benefit of a world that was made better for them - these people would wish to burden them with the responsibility of propping up the aging boomer population who is determined to leave them nothing. It is not, in any way, good for us to encourage the birth of a child who will end up in harms way, nor is it the responsibility of our children to prop up the economy or care for the old. It is time we get our priorities straight, and recognize the lies for what they are - self serving, fear mongering bs designed to make their lives easier at the cost of our future.
