We Rebuilt This Toyota Prado From the Bare Frame — No Expense Spared!

This Toyota Land Cruiser Prado arrived in shocking condition. The engine had serious power loss, the interior insulation smelled terrible, and the hidden sound-deadening material was cracked and moldy, suggesting possible water damage. Instead of covering up the problems, we decided to rebuild the SUV from the ground up. The entire body was separated from the chassis, revealing layers of dirt underneath. We dismantled and carefully rebuilt the engine, replaced worn components, cleaned reusable hardware, and followed a step-by-step assembly process using professional torque tools and automated sealant application. Next came the chassis restoration: laser rust removal, anti-corrosion primer, a protective coating, sandblasted bolts, new rubber bushings, and cavity wax to protect the frame from the inside. We then refinished the exterior, added a 2020-style body kit, and reupholstered the seats and headliner. After about a month of hard work, this neglected Prado was finally transformed.
