KHAO LAK 2023 - BIG BUDDHA & PA PHOTHIWAT MONASTERY (4K) #travel #thailand #khaolak

A Saturday morning walk in Khao Lak Thailand. From our hotel Ayara Villas to Pa Phothiwat Monastery and the Big Buddha. A week earlier on our way by taxi to Bang Sak Beach I spotted the Big Buddha. I now decided to go for a walk and explore the area and have a look at the Big Buddha and the Pa Phothiwat Monastery. I walked through the gate at Pa Phothiwat Monastery and was warmly welcomed. They noticed that I was capturing video with my iPhone and I explained what I was doing and told them about my YouTube channel. They invited me to the top floor of the building closest to the Big Buddha to get a better view. As you see in the video there was also amazing things to see inside the building. Thanks to the people at Pa Phothiwat Monastery!
