At Troulos Beach, the Aegean Sea is so perfectly calm it acts like a giant, sunlit mirror, reflecting the lush emerald pines and the iconic, dome-shaped islet floating just offshore. Tucked into the southern coast of Skiathos, this beautifully sheltered cove offers exceptionally soft sand and shallow waters that feel almost impossibly clear. Our sun-drenched stroll begins at the stylish, laid-back wooden loungers of Cay Beach Club. Leaving the gentle salt breeze and the famous Troulonisi (dome island) behind, we transition from serene coastal relaxation into the heart of Troulos town. Walking along the main road, the scent of sea salt is quickly replaced by the irresistible aroma of a traditional Greek bakery. We continue past the local supermarket—where dodging giant inflatable flamingos is a daily Olympic sport—and stroll by inviting family-run tavernas gearing up for the evening service.
