Part 1: The Blanchard Street Walk, Relationship Quiz & Facebook Group Rumors (call 408):
Call 408 opens late on March 26 as Ken walks through Seattle while on the phone with Gypsy, announcing he is walking down "Blanchard Street," prompting. They try playing a relationship quiz where Gypsy fails to guess how many siblings Ken has (guessing 12, 5, 8, and 6).
Gypsy explains she paused their prison marriage application to focus 100% on saving money for Ken's September relocation to Missouri.
They tease each other about Jason Momoa versus tattooed criminals, and Ken reads a "rumor" posted in a Springfield Facebook group claiming she could walk, held a city bus pass to sneak out at night, and had sex at Comic-Con, which group members quickly denied. Ken teases her about going to the Barney Stone bar so Gypsy calls over a CO to smell him, causing Ken to hang up.
Part 2: The Apology Redial(calls 409 & 410):
In Call 409, Gypsy redials, Ken remains cold and skeptical as Gypsy frantically apologizes for her "joke" ("There was no one there! I was just kidding!"). In Call 410, reconnecting after 12 minutes, they unpack their emotional cycles. Gypsy admits his insecurity stems from the distance ("because I'm in here right now... I don't know how you present yourself in society"). Reaffirming his devotion, Ken declares that his "vacation" is visiting her in prison: "My vacations are coming to see my fiance in a goddamn visitation room... You're the only thing that comforts me in the world". Gypsy contrasts her relationship with Ken against her past online relationship with Nick Godejohn, calling this her first "real, solid relationship", adding: "You make me strong, but you also make me weak".
Part 3: Rapid Disconnections & Email Reassurances (calls 411 & 412):
Call 411 records a 29-second goodnight check-in exchanging affection before count. In Call 412, Ken reassures Gypsy that date night was "interesting, but it wasn't ruined", while Ken realizes he forgot to transfer Gypsy money and promises to send it over.
Part 4: Normandy Cats, The Illegal "K" Tattoo & W Hotel Firing (calls 413–417):
On March 28, Ken visits his former home in Normandy, hanging out with his old cats Whiskey and Roa before the Mariners Opening Day game (call 413). In Call 414, Gypsy tells Ken to "read between the lines" as she discloses touching up her prison tattoo ("I put some fresh black in my K"), prompting Ken to joke about infection risks. In Calls 415–417, Ken explains that his friend who was supposed to go to the game showed up drunk to his job, got sent home by the GM, and was going through a breakup. Gypsy encourages Ken to be supportive and help his friend seek rehab.
Part 5: Mariners Opening Day, Priority Rankings & Cheating Debates (call 418):
In Call 418, Ken prepares to head to the Mariners Opening Day game in his hat, jeans, and shirt, noting stadium jerseys cost $200. Ken teases Gypsy by ranking his priorities: "The Cowboys, Mariners, Tacos, and then you number four!" Gypsy reassures Ken about Monday night and admits her jealousy prank was copied from a roommate's ex-girlfriend. After Ken references street interview videos about cheating he asserts he could never forgive infidelity before heading off to the game.
