The Seduction rave events featuring Slipmatt at the Margate Lido, Kent, UK took place in 1992, with specific notable live sets and cassette recordings dating from October and December 1992 (such as DJ Rap's set on 31st October 1992 and Slipmatt/Seduction tapes around late 1992), while related Slipmatt Seduction volume tapes continued into 1993 and subsequent years. The Seduction promotions were famous for taking over the underground spaces of the Margate Lido, drawing ravers from all over Kent and London with massive sound systems, multi-room setups, and iconic line-ups featuring DJs like Slipmatt, DJ Lime, Ratpack, and DJ Rap.
