12 Forgotten Horror TV Shows Cancelled Too Soon (70s-90s)

From a vampire knocked off the air by the evening news to a werewolf who peeled off his own face, these are 12 creepy TV shows from the 70s, 80s and 90s that got cancelled way too fast. TV tried every one of them once... and then turned out the lights. In this countdown we dig into the horror anthologies, monster hunters and haunted small towns that never got a second season: who made them (Wes Craven, Sam Raimi, Dan Curtis, William Castle, Shaun Cassidy), the stars who signed on (Darren McGavin, Robert Englund, Gary Cole, Sarah Paulson, Ben Cross, Jean Simmons, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Chuck Connors, James Coburn), what went wrong, and the strange things that happened next, from a show faked in Australia with backwards street signs to the night stalker who helped inspire The X-Files. Which of these did you actually watch when it first aired? Tell us in the comments.
