Petah Tikva | Not Tel Aviv, Not Jerusalem – Just Real Israel

In this video, I’m taking you on a walking tour through the city of Petah Tikva, one of the largest and oldest cities in Israel. I started my walk right from one of the new light rail stations, capturing the train and the surrounding area, and then continued toward the city center and Rothschild Square. From there, I explored Montefiore Street, Histadrut Street, and walked along HaHagana Street, where there’s a lovely pedestrian walkway with a nice local vibe. I stopped by the fountain at the corner of HaHagana and Haim Ozer Streets, then continued along Haim Ozer Street, one of the city’s main streets. Later, I reached Founders’ Square, where I saw lots and lots of pigeons — something that really gives Petah Tikva a unique atmosphere. From there, I headed to Baron Hirsch Street and visited the Petah Tikva Market, a lively place full of fruits, vegetables, and delicious local food. Finally, I walked along Bar Kochva Street all the way to Ze’ev Jabotinsky and Arlozorov Street, where the light rail’s last station is located — that’s where I ended my walk. Petah Tikva left me with a mixed feeling — it’s a big and modern city, yet you can still see many old buildings and historic corners.
