A passenger asked the airline's chatbot about bereavement fares and booked his flight based on its answer. Air Canada refused the discount, arguing the chatbot was a separate entity. The tribunal rejected that completely and held Air Canada responsible. The chatbot did not cause this. It made an existing problem visible.
