Our journey starts around Hope Street, between two very different landmarks — Liverpool Cathedral and the Metropolitan Cathedral. From there, we continue toward the River Mersey and Liverpool's historic waterfront, where the city's maritime past still shapes its character. But Liverpool gave the world another kind of legacy. The Beatles. We visit the Beatles statue on the waterfront before continuing through the docks and back into the city toward Mathew Street — one of the most famous streets in Liverpool's musical history.
