On the Solemnity of All Saints, the Church celebrates the countless men and women who have gone before us marked with the sign of faith and now share in the glory of heaven. The first reading from Revelation 7:2–4, 9–14 presents a vision of the great multitude from every nation standing before the throne of God, clothed in white and washed in the blood of the Lamb. Psalm 24 reminds us that only those with clean hands and pure hearts may ascend the Lord’s holy mountain. The second reading, from 1 John 3:1–3, proclaims that we are God’s children, destined to be like Him when He is revealed. In the Gospel of Matthew 5:1–12a, Jesus proclaims the Beatitudes, showing us the path of holiness and the way to blessedness. This solemn feast invites us to rejoice in the communion of saints and to follow their example of faith, hope, and love.
