U.S. Citizens Detained at Community Horse Racing Event | ACLU

A family-friendly horse racing event in Wilder, Idaho last October turned into a nightmare when more than 200 heavily armed federal, state, and local law enforcement officers raided the mostly-Latino community event in military style, many in masks and without any identification. Families were zip-tied at gunpoint, unlawfully detained, and denied water — including children — among other constitutional violations.
