Oregon On Film Part 02 — this time we’re leaving Portland behind and heading out to the Oregon Coast around Tillamook. Beaches, fog, coastline, small towns and plenty of questionable decisions involving old cameras and expensive film. I shot a mix of Kodak Portra 400, Kodak Gold 200 and Ilford HP5, looking at how each film handles the very different light and colours of the Oregon coast. I also talk about something I’m trying to get better at myself — how to shoot film without spending an absolute fortune. Slowing down, choosing your shots, buying cheaper film when it makes sense, and remembering that you really don’t need the newest or most expensive camera to make photographs you actually like. This isn’t a technical masterclass. It’s basically a family trip, a bag of old cameras, a few rolls of film and an excuse to wander around the Oregon coast taking pictures. 📍 Tillamook & the Oregon Coast 🎞 Kodak Portra 400 / Kodak Gold 200 / Ilford HP5 📷 35mm film photography If you enjoyed Part 01 in Portland, welcome to Part 02.
