Our first Japanese pro baseball game — Yokohama DeNA BayStars vs Tokyo Yakult Swallows at Yokohama Stadium. We came for the baseball and discovered the real show is the crowd: perfectly coordinated chants, an army of cheerleaders, the Swallows' umbrella dance, a closing pitcher who arrives in a car, and a whole stand glowing blue. Plus a home run, a chaotic scoring play, and a foul ball that should've been ours.
