There's a different kind of freedom you experience when you start living on your own. You make your own decisions, build your own routine, make mistakes and slowly figure life out. But what happens when you leave all of that behind and come back home? Coming back to an Indian household after living independently is a different experience altogether. The expectations, the questions, the lack of personal space, the constant adjustments and the feeling that somehow you've gone backwards in life. In this video, I'm just sitting down and talking about my experience of living away from home, leaving everything behind and coming back. About independence, Indian parents, societal expectations and the strange feeling of starting over. Maybe coming back home doesn't mean you've failed. Maybe life just took a different turn.
