Pokemon Champions X Go Tournament! Does this format work?

Champions Tournament 05 - Champions X Go! Just imagine Pokemon Champions with the limitations of Pokemon Go’s PvP style. Pokemon Go to the common man is a simple concept. Tap the screen and shield when needed. How can this battle foundation ever translate to Champions? A format with more intricacies to consider? Introducing The Champions X Go tournament! A 3v3 singles best of 3 format where players have a team of 6 with adjusted movesets. One status move or Base Power of 55 or less to represent the fast move, two attacks of 60 Base Power or more for the two charge moves and protect for the shield. Also all the Pokemon were banned from having held items. Starting the tournament is my favourite archetype, managing Aurora veil, perfect. Rotom was able to cover a lot of the brunt of the team but whether I had what it took for 5 turns of screens… you’ll have to find out in these 3 games!
