The title is inspired by the idea behind Philip K. Dick's Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? — artificial life, dreams, machines and the blurred line between human and artificial. But in this track, the idea is taken from the opposite perspective: the one who destroys those dreams. I imagined the track from the perspective of a relentless android hunter pursuing the escaped Nexus-6 replicants, hunting them down one by one. The “dreams of electric sheep” become a metaphor for the artificial beings he is trying to destroy — and the title becomes a dark way of calling him the one who destroys those dreams. It's not meant to belong to one specific genre. It's simply my own take on dark, futuristic and melodic electronic music. 🎧 Best experienced with headphones.
