Samsung NX1 Firmware Hack - Bitrate test

In this video, I finally take my Samsung NX1, and apply the firmware hack that's been on the internet for a couple of years now. This firmware hack for the NX1 has been known to have significant improvements for the NX1, such as an increased bit-rate, from 80mbps to 160mbps for UHD footage! After a number of years, I felt it was important to extend the life of the rare Samsung NX1 so that it could continue to be a reliable camera for me in 2018. A special thanks to Peter Gregg, who posted a video this past week that gave me a good boost and has led the newest subscribers over to my channel! Check out his channel here and subscribe if you aren't already:    / petergregg   Also, regarding the hack, I didn't want to give instructions on how to access the hack, because that's not something I want to be responsible for, however, here's the link I used to install the software. You should be able to find everything you need like I did: https://www.eoshd.com/comments/forum/... Here's a link to buy the Samsung NX1 used. You're probably not going to find it new, since it's no longer in production. https://amzn.to/2JgPOhR
