Stevie Wonder Came to My Office - All His Money Could Not Open His Eyes | Dag Heward-Mills

Bishop Dag Heward-Mills dramatizes the heavenly conversation between God the Father and the Son about rescuing humanity from the devil. He explains that angels fought Satan but could not overcome him, so God sent his only begotten Son, quoting John 3:16 and Acts 10:38: 'How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power, who went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil.' He describes how the Holy Spirit arrived at Jesus's baptism to equip him with miracle-working power. He walks through Jesus's miracles as proof of divine identity: walking on water, commanding the storm to be still, feeding five thousand people, and healing blind Bartimaeus. He quotes Jesus's extraordinary declarations from John 14:6 - 'I am the way, I am the truth, no one can come to the Father except through me' - and shares his personal encounter with Stevie Wonder, who has been blind from birth despite access to the world's best doctors, to show that only Jesus can do what no human power can accomplish.
