Two reviewers. One Barbershop. Two VERY different ways of judging a brick set. In this episode of Vets and Bricks, T and J are back together for another side-by-side review, taking on the Lumibricks Barbershop #19012. If you have watched us for a while, you already know that putting T and J in front of the same set does not necessarily mean you are going to get the same opinion. That is half the fun. The Lumibricks Barbershop comes packed with 2,557 pieces, 21 integrated lighting points, four minifigures, and an impressive 83 printed pieces—with no stickers. The build recreates a vintage Brooklyn-style neighborhood barbershop, complete with the classic barber pole, detailed shop interior, street-level atmosphere, and even a lawyer’s office upstairs. Then Lumibricks takes things a little further. The building uses a dual-axis rotating design, allowing different sections of the structure to open independently so you can actually get inside and appreciate all those little details that would otherwise disappear once the build hits the shelf. And when the lights come on? That is when this barbershop really starts showing off. But the specifications only tell part of the story. Watch T and J examine the same build through their completely different review styles. What does T notice first? What drives J crazy? Which details earn points? Which ones lose them? And most importantly… Does the Lumibricks Barbershop deserve a place in your brick city? If you are considering stepping outside the LEGO® aisle and wondering whether Lumibricks is worth your money, this is exactly the kind of review we created Vets and Bricks for. Tell us in the comments: Who do you agree with more—T or J? And where does the Barbershop rank among the Lumibricks Street Fusion buildings you have seen or built?
