Jars of Clay: A Prayer for Health Professionals | 2 Corinthians 4:7

"But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us." (2 Corinthians 4:7) In today's prayer for health professionals, Dr. Cary Yurkiw reflects on what it means to be the clay. Paul isn't diminishing the work. He's locating the power. Your skill matters, your presence matters, and how you show up matters, but none of it makes you the source. God heals. The body heals. You are a set of hands in the room. Conduit, not source. 🙏 We pray for: • Every clinician: clear heads, steady hands, mercy at the center • The patients and families they'll care for this week • Those still waiting for an answer: grace sufficient when healing is slow 💛 We give thanks for the privilege of being invited into people's pain, for colleagues who still care, and for a God who calls Himself Healer even at bitter water. Daily reminder: be intentional about how you show up, rested, grounded, and open. Whether you're adjusting a patient, teaching, posting, negotiating, or writing, keep mercy at the center. "I've never healed anyone. Not once. The body heals, and God heals. I'm just a set of hands in the room." (Dr. Cary Yurkiw) If this prayer encouraged you, share it with a nurse, doctor, chiropractor, therapist, or caregiver who needs it today. #PrayerForHealing #HealthProfessionals #JarsOfClay Website: https://www.truenorthexperts.com/true...
