Milton is a town in Southern Ontario, Canada, and part of the Halton Region in the Greater Toronto Area. Between 2001 and 2011, Milton was the fastest growing municipality in Canada, with a 71.4% increase in population from 2001 to 2006 and another 56.5% increase from 2006 to 2016. It remained the fastest growing community in Ontario but was deemed to be the sixth fastest growing in Canada at that time. Milton is a small beautiful town adjacent to Oakville, Burlington, Mississauga and Halton Hills. It is between highway 401 and 403 and have easy access to Niagara Falls, Toronto, eastern and northern side of GTA. Mississauga is a large Canadian city neighboring Toronto on Lake Ontario. On the lakefront, Port Credit has shops, a working lighthouse and a marina with a grounded freighter. Milton doesn't have Costco yet so people living in Milton has to go to Mississauga or Burlington to shop in Costco.
