Tuscarora History (Part 1)

Chandler Allred (Tuscarora: Beaver Clan), a senior at UNC-Pembroke double majoring in American Indian Studies and History, gave us a quick rundown of the Tuscarora people. Allred also is a Mellon REACH Fellow, researching the Tuscarora experience in North Carolina (historically - present). He is involved in the Alliance of Native Seedkeepers. Allred routinely participates in ceremonies and events with his nation, the Skaroreh Katenuaka Tuscarora Nation of Indians.
