3: raga Ahir Bhairav - Jor with space

Jor is the second section in the alap of a North Indian classical (Hindustani) instrumental performance. It comes after the free-flowing alap and introduces a steady pulse or rhythmic flow, though without percussion (no tabla yet). The melodic development continues, but now with a sense of rhythmic momentum, created by the performer.
