LoK - Truth: Korra and Asami

Like always, totally frustrated with the end result, but this video is also so special to me. Over the course of the final season of Korra, I was also dealing with severe physical trauma and learning to walk again, meanwhile trying to express everything going on inside of me, a choking self-hatred and fear, all while trying to come out to my friends/family and accept who I was. Korra Alone and the final episode of season 4 mean the world to me. They taught me that it's okay to be affected by our demons and our pain, it's okay to take years trying to heal (on year 2 and I only just started feeling alive again), and that love is always there even if it's not what we expected, even if we're drowning and can't see it. Despite the pain, isolation, and anger that colored Korra's world for so long, love was still there when she found the strength to come back to it. That's a truth I'm holding on to right now. I apologize for being so sappy, but this video was so healing to create.
