Mid-Ohio Trackday PTR 2026/09/08 Third Session Advanced (Raw)

2013 Kawasaki ZX6R (ZX636), M4 exhaust Mid Ohio Sportscar Course Performance Track Riding from September 8th, 2026 - Advanced Session 3 Raw Footage Rider Appreciation Day! My dad stopped down to hang out and be my photographer and videographer for the rest of the day. Always nice to have some time with pops. Another short session. They're trying to makeup timing on the schedule by snipping a few minutes off every group now. I'm having a day with Turn 8, vibes are off, bruh (1:08). I've caught a rider in the carousel and am plotting a pass, which comes on the frontstretch (1:49). While I was worried about my passing, another rider shoots on by me on the frontstretch too (1:53), nevermind - make that two riders getting to the inside of T1 on me. I get passed heading up the hill after T8 (2:58). The rider got it done, but it wasn't a great pass because it threw his line off and slowed me down as he cut across in front. The rider was obviously faster than me, I just didn't think it was a stellar pass. This is one of the rare times I didn't get the checkered flag at the entrance to Thunder Valley, but the corner worker waved it at the top (6:48). I did panic a bit as I didn't want to be the one that put everyone two minutes behind by taking another flyer, so I scooted over to the left, threw my hands up and pitted in. I'm not 100% certain if that wouldn't be frowned upon, but I think it was the right call. Session done. Lunch time! Video taken by a Sony AS100V, Stabilized, 1080p60
