S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl — Update 2.0 AFTERMATH | Part 14 I still can’t bring myself to leave the Zone. Sorry. Every time I think I’m ready to return to the Foundation and continue toward the end, another unexplored road, hidden location, or mysterious “?” marker appears on the map — and I have to know what is waiting there. Part 14 continues this final journey through the Zone with no rush toward the point of no return. Sometimes simply walking through the world, taking in its atmosphere and watching the environment change around you is already part of the experience. But the Zone rarely stays quiet for long. One seemingly ordinary detour leads back to Rostok, where Skif discovers that a mysterious group is attempting to seize control of the settlement. Exploration quickly turns into another fight, and Skif steps in to stop the takeover before continuing his journey. And there is still so much left to see. The episode eventually brings Skif back toward Prypiat, but instead of heading underground, the next goal is exploration: the farthest reaches of the map around Prypiat and the CNPP. What is hidden near the edge of the Zone? Secret locations? Strange encounters? New anomalies? Something completely unexpected? There is only one way to find out. The Foundation can wait a little longer.
