GANDHARA — Where Every Stone Tells a Story | A Special Documentary by KHANCAST

Who are the custodians of our heritage? And what does the heritage of Gandhara tell us about the people who lived here? In this special documentary, KHANCAST explores the archaeological and cultural heritage of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gandhara, and the greater Gandhara region. We look at ancient civilizations, archaeological remains, and the heritage that has survived through time. Through conversations with the Director General, Archaeology & Museums, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Director of KITE, Dr. Abdul Samad, we discuss the importance of preserving these sites and understanding their historical significance. Dr. Abdul Samad emphasises that we are the custodians of our heritage, while also highlighting the religious harmony reflected in the region’s diverse heritage.
