A large-scale joining programme was organised in Kumbhariput and Garidi Gram Panchayats of Bandhugaon Block in Koraput district. In the presence of Laxmipur MLA Pavitra Saunta, hundreds of workers from different political parties formally joined the Congress. The programme also focused on reorganising the party committees and strengthening the organisation at the grassroots level ahead of the Panchayat elections.
