Reading Nature – Understanding the Vuojatädno River A fishing journey through one of the wildest river systems in northern Sweden. Vuojatädno runs through the remote highlands around Padjelanta National Park, carrying cold, turquoise water from the mountains toward Lake Akkajaure. These waters hold only two fish species: brown trout and arctic char. This film is not only about catching fish. It is about learning how to read the river. Over several days, the conditions kept changing. Fish moved between deeper water, current seams, lake shores and wind-blown feeding areas. Some places that looked perfect held nothing, while others suddenly came alive. By paying attention to depth, current, wind, food and changing weather, the river slowly started to make more sense. Filmed during a week-long fishing trip in northern Sweden, using handmade Muotka Lures spinners. Species: Brown trout and Arctic char Location: Padjelanta National Park, Sweden Lures: Muotka Lures Spinners If you enjoy quiet fishing films, wild places and learning how fish behave in natural environments, subscribe for more. #fishing #browntrout #arcticchar #padjelanta #sweden #troutfishing #fishingdocumentary #muotkalures #handmadelures
