MTA Metro-North Railroad SC42-DM Charger Test Trains 12.2024

Forgot to upload this one! Here are a handful of test run videos of Metro-North's new Siemens SC42-DM Charger locomotive. Full maxi-bomb train sets, as well as cab car compatibility were being tested, along with PTC/ACSES testing. This video dates before the reflective MTA nose logo decal was applied, looks kinda odd if you ask me lol. Enjoy the slow and high speed flybys of # 302, as well as a very short CSX M701 (a whopping 1 loaded centerbeam!) and a PMMO lite engine wye move of P32 # 215 for the bookended test train.
