By ensuring patient safety will achieve better results in their treatment, uphold ethical duties, prevent mistakes, and provide the highest level of care possible. This aspect of healthcare is crucial and requires ongoing commitment and collaboration from all healthcare team members. When a Patient is hemorrhaging, she will be managed by a multidisciplinary team, and each team will have staff at different levels. Some may be very senior, and some may be very junior. In addition, multiple interventions will be carried out at the same time. Blood will be drawn to send to the lab; intravenous fluids will be started, a urinary catheter will be inserted. Even a per-vaginal examination will carry risk of infection. In this situation, the patient is at high risk not only because of the underlying condition and because of the multiple interventions taking place.
