🇯🇵 Kyoto Adventure | Arashiyama, Bamboo Forest, Kinkaku-ji & Hidden Shrines

Today, we leave the busy city streets behind and head to beautiful Arashiyama, one of Kyoto’s most scenic areas. We explore the famous Togetsukyo Bridge, visit the peaceful Tenryu-ji Temple and its beautiful Zen garden, and walk through the iconic Arashiyama Bamboo Forest. 🎋🏯 After exploring Arashiyama, we take some time to relax and enjoy a traditional Japanese foot onsen – the perfect way to rest after a long day of walking. ♨️ Our journey then continues to the magnificent Kinkaku-ji – the Golden Pavilion, one of Kyoto’s most recognizable landmarks, beautifully reflected in the surrounding pond. ✨ But Kyoto is not only about its famous attractions. We also visit Shikichi Jinja and Hirano Jinja, where we can experience a quieter and more peaceful side of Japanese culture, away from the biggest tourist crowds. ⛩️ And to finish the day with something completely different, we stop at the adorable Teacup Club Dog Café, where we spend some time with incredibly cute little poodles. 🐶☕❤️ From bamboo forests and Zen gardens to ancient shrines, hot springs and tiny dogs, this day shows just how diverse and unforgettable Kyoto can be.
