Wanagarren to Cervantes & Sandy Cape – Pinnacles, Lake Thetis & Coastal 4WD Tracks

Continuing the drive north of Perth, this video picks up from Wanagarren Nature Reserve and follows a scenic 4WD and coastal route through some of Western Australia’s most iconic locations. First stop is the Pinnacles in Nambung National Park, one of WA’s most unique natural attractions. From there I head into Cervantes to visit Lake Thetis, home to ancient stromatolites and thrombolites — some of the oldest life forms on Earth. After exploring Lake Thetis, the journey continues via a beach track out to Black Point before rejoining Indian Ocean Drive and making the run north toward Sandy Cape. Sandy Cape is a popular camping area just above Jurien Bay, and I try to arrive early enough to secure a good spot before the weekend crowds roll in. This video is a relaxed 4K guide showing the drive, the scenery, and what to expect if you’re planning a trip along this part of Western Australia’s coastline.
