In our very first video at Harybarn Garage, we are tackling a massive mechanical resurrection project: a rare, vintage 1932 Hudson Coupe that has been sitting dormant for decades. We roll the classic car into the barn to see if this piece of automotive history can be saved from the dead. The engine is completely locked up tight, so we start by pulling the spark plugs and soaking the cylinders with pure automatic transmission fluid (ATF) right off the shelf to free it up. After dealing with some rust and water in the cylinders, we drop in a fresh battery, bolt on a used carburetor fresh off the "healing shelf," gap some new spark plugs, and try to bring the old motor back to life. Watch the full video to see if we can actually get this pre-war engine to fire up and run for the first time in years! There is a lot more work, fabrication, and automotive revival videos to come on this build.
